Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sound Journey. By booking a session (group or private), purchasing an instrument, or downloading our digital content, you agree to the following terms. Our goal is to ensure a safe, transformative, and "win-win" experience for everyone.

1. Health & Safety (Contraindications)

​

Your safety is our priority. Sound therapy involves high-frequency vibrations that may not be suitable for everyone.

  • Strict Exclusion: If you have sound-induced epilepsy, you are advised not to attend our sessions.

  • Mandatory Notification: If any of the following apply to you, you must consult a medical professional before booking and notify Sound Journey in writing prior to your session:

    • Pregnancy

    • Pacemakers

    • Broken bones, metal plates, or metallic implants

    • Open wounds or skin disorders

    • Tumours

    • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

    • Carotid Stenosis

  • Assumption of Risk: By attending, you acknowledge that sound therapy is a complementary practice and not a substitute for medical or psychological diagnosis or treatment. You assume all risk regarding undisclosed medical conditions.

2. Refund & Satisfaction Guarantee

 

We stand by the quality of our sessions.

  • The Relaxation Guarantee: If you do not feel completely relaxed after a group session, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. To claim this, you must notify us via email or text within 72 hours of the session completion.

  • General Refunds: Aside from our satisfaction guarantee, event tickets are generally non-refundable for "no-shows" unless notifying us in adavnce and reaching an agreement regarding refunds/credits.

3. Private Bookings

​

  • Confirmation: A booking request is not a guarantee. Your session is only secured once you receive a formal confirmation email and payment is approved.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: You may cancel or reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the start time using the link in your confirmation email. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior may result in a forfeited fee.

4. Physical Products (Instruments)

​

  • Change of Mind: We accept returns within [14] days of purchase. The item must be in its original state. Return shipping is at the customer's expense.

  • Damaged Goods: If an instrument arrives broken or damaged, you must notify us in writing within 48 hours of receipt, including clear photos of the damage and packaging. We will assess the claim and provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.

5. Digital Content & Downloads

​

  • Usage: All audio recordings and digital content are for personal use only. You may not broadcast, resell, or use these recordings for commercial purposes (including your own paid classes) without written consent.

  • Refunds: Due to the nature of digital products, these are non-refundable once the download link has been accessed.

6. Event Changes & Liability

​

  • Cancellations by Us: If we must cancel an event (due to illness or venue issues), we reserve the right to offer a reschedule or a full refund.

  • Personal Property: Sound Journey is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings (phones, jewelry, etc.) brought to a session.
